9/10/2023 0 Comments Ffxiv nidhogg ex accuracy casterEvery other class potentially gets something better going through POTD and even the above forementioned classes might consider it (for reasons beyond glamour). People who should not go to POTD if they can get a Nidhogg weapon: WAR, Healers (judge on preferences), DRG, BRD, BLM, SMN, and MAYBE PLD (the sword is worse but the shield is better). BLM's would be forgiven if they didn't though. People who should consider going through POTD if you don't do Nidhogg Ex or Midas Savage: almost everyone. Still loses to the Horde Bow (It's an upgrade from the lore though, so it's an improvement!) Forget everything I said It's actually very good! Padjali Bow: Skillspeed/Crit, which means it beats the Torrent Longbow's Skillspeed/Det. Again not much else to complain about! (Also Really Good) More Det than Crit but not much else to complain about. Padjali Spear: Slightly worse offering with Det/Skillspeed vs the Crit/Skillspeed of the Slipstream Partisan and it loses out vs the Nidhogg Ex Spear. Padjali Knuckles: if you like Blinding your enemies with a Crit/Det set of fists then punch away! You can always glamour it if the light's not your thing. Padjali Grimoire: Now why does this thing have Det/Spellspeed and the Padjali Rod doesn't? (Meh!) I guess it's a nice weapon if you don't have any alternatives but you're losing out on a LOT of potential spell speed. which is a shame that it doesn't have spell speed. I know Scholars will love the Crit (and some White mages/Astrologians. The Sword is good the Shield is bleh).ĪLL the healer weapons are Crit/Det! Great if you want max heals/spell output but I don't play enough healer to really know if that's best for you guys or not. Shame that a sword with good stats is mated by a shield that doesn't give you as much.(Mixed feelings. The Horde Shield gives you parry/crit so with that one you're at least getting something for your trouble. The Hellfire Shield would be a better match statwise but you're losing out on block if you do so. The shield is bleh with it's Skillspeed/parry offering. Padjali Blade/Shield: The Blade is awesome! Crit/Det ftw. Again, if you're not building an Animus or raiding in Midas Savage this one's for you! (It's really good!)Īnd if you're wondering why you're seeing so many Dark Knights in the Palace of the dead. Padjali Greatsword: It beats out both the Horde Guillotine and the Hellfire Guillotine with it's Crit/Skillspeed offering. IF you're not raiding and neither the Animus Axe or the Midan Metal Axe are an option then this or the Horde Axe are your best bet and they're awful close. but it's better than the Hellfire Axe's Skillspeed/Parry offering! VS the Horde Axe and it's Skillspeed/Crit offering it loses out. Padjali Axe: The Padjali axe is "meh" with the Crit/Parry offering. Oh and if I put two stats in order (crit/skillspeed vs skillspeed/crit) the first stat is the "primary" side stat (you get more of the first than the second). I'll be comparing the Padjali weapons compared primarily to their lore counterparts AND the Nidhogg Ex weapons and see how they stack up. You can find a quick link to all of them here if you just want to see the stats for yourself.
