In SketchUp 2016, a context click on a component gives you the opportunity to reload (or swap out) a new component directly from 3D Warehouse. Overall, the Face Reverser plugin created by Didier Bur is a useful plugin under several circumstances. ![]() I started The SketchUp Essentials as a place to share easy to follow SketchUp tutorials and tips to help everyone harness the power of 3D Modeling in their lives. I quickly realized the power of the software and started using it for personal projects. So it is best to use the plugin before you apply any material or textures to it. I started using SketchUp as part of my work as a general contractor in 2008. So the back side of an object will change to the opposite orientation.Ī MAJOR drawback is that if you have already applied a texture to a surface and the face is reversed, then the plugin will move that material to the other side.
